Legendary Beatle to give a summer concert in Herning

Sir Paul McCartney will bring his One on One tour to the Jyske Bank Boxen on June 27.

McCartney was in Denmark last summer, headlining the Orange Stage at the Roskilde Festival with a career-spanning retrospective of his Beatles, Wings and solo music.

Sometimes, the cliche’ fits: A true living legend
Nearly every music critic in Denmark gave the seemingly ageless rocker the highest marks possible for his Roskilde turn.

“I do not think that I have heard so many good songs on the Orange Stage in the past 25 years,” wrote Politiken’s music editor Simon Lund.

Concert promoter Live Nation promises that the same mix will be on offer in Herning

Tickets for the Herning concert go on sale on Thursday.
