It’ll undoubtedly be a barrel of laughs in Denmark this autumn when one of the world’s premier stand-up comedians, Louis CK, performs in Forum on Saturday, August 20.
The American comedian – winner of six Emmy Awards – has garnered huge success with his stand-up routines, as well as TV shows including ‘Louie’ and ‘Horace and Pete’.
The comic’s brash and colourful-language style echoes of legends George Carlin, Lenny Bruce and Bill Hicks; CK has been named one of the greatest comedians of his generation.

A versatile success
Last year, he became the first comedian to ever sell out the iconic Madison Square Garden venue in New York City thrice in the same tour.
The 48-year-old is no stranger to the film screen either and has appeared in Danish cinemas playing parts in Woody Allen’s ‘Blue Jasmine’, the Oscar-nominated ‘American Hustle’ and ‘Trumbo’.
Recently he wrote, directed and starred alongside Steve Buscemi in yet another independent TV series project, ‘Horace and Pete’. The mini-series was released in the US earlier this year and combined TV, theatre and film.
Tickets went on sale today at 10:00 on Billetlugen.dk and prices start at 420 kroner.
