Copenhagen Police have arrested a 29-year-old man and accused him of committing extremely serious sexual assaults on women in the capital.
The suspect appeared before a magistrate today where police told the judge that he raped a woman in a backyard on Saturday afternoon.
The attack was so violent that the woman bled from her abdomen. The suspect is also accused of repeatedly striking his victim in the face.
Another assault
The 29-year-old suspect is also accused of forcing another woman to perform oral sex in a public restroom on Halmtorvet in Copenhagen at around 2:30 in the morning on 1 February.
That victim was also struck several times in the head during the attack

The man claimed that he was innocent of all charges, but the judge placed him in custody for 24 days.
