Danish Oscar committee announces shortlist

Three films have been put forward to compete for Denmark’s official Oscar nomination for 2018

At a gathering earlier today, the Danish Oscar committee announced the titles of the three films that will be in the running to represent Denmark in the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ category.

The films are ‘You Disappear’ directed by Peter Schønau Fog, ‘Word of God’ by Henrik Ruben Genz, and ‘Darkland’ by Fenar Ahmad.

The winning candidate will be chosen by the committee on September 20.
