According to the ‘How to Look like a Dane’ guide – a blog post by Copenhannah that went viral this summer – Danes have a total of three options of footwear. These include black converse, black Nike Free sneakers or black booties. So if you want to keep up with the Danish women, or devilishly defy them, here are some places to get the goods.
Pico
Though these small boutiques specialise mostly in jewellery, they carry their own line of feminine ballerina flats. Both locations have previously been old-fashioned sweet shops, and though the shelves are now lined with colourful shoes and jewellery, the cosy and dainty atmosphere of a chocolatier still exists. All the shoes are made in real leather and found in every colour of the rainbow. Anniel per Pico, a slightly more costly line, are shoes made for dancers and include an extra sole for a perfect fit.
