Valbyparken was once again the setting for another edition of the Medieval Market over the Whitsun weekend.
All the usual suspects were there: jousting knights, juggling jesters, soulful minstrels and a damsel or two, including one with a beard last seen at Eurovision .
Craftsman could be seen at work, making things and dyeing wool with herbs, and suits of armour and helmets were on sale in case you felt the need to buy one! No danger of that not happening for the medieval-style-food and ‘Middelalder Øl’, attracting queues not seen since they abolished public executions.
