Ex-boyfriend arrested in murder of young mother

Missing woman had been subject of massive search

A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the murder of 21-year-old Kamilla Hantusch, who disappeared on July 19. The suspect is the young mother’s ex-boyfriend, according to a statement from south Jutland police.

Since her disappearance, Hantusch had been the subject of a massive search, which included hundreds of civilians from the local area, police canines, helicopters and divers. The case was also reported to Interpol.

Grisly discovery
Police found her body yesterday near a motorway in southern Jutland, and said that their investigation had led them to suspect the ex-boyfriend.

The man is scheduled for a preliminary hearing today. Police declined to say how the suspect would plead.
