Man killed in microlight crash

The exact cause is being investigated

The pilot of a microlight that crashed in Sønder Vorupør in northwest Jutland this afternoon was killed on impact, Mid and South Jutland Police have confirmed on Twitter.

The 66-year-old man from Thisted has not yet been named.

Investigating the cause
"We don't suppose anyone else was on board. But we don't know for sure," said spokesperson Henrik Nielsen.

The police are now investigating the cause of the crash.

The bereaved relatives have been informed.
