On this day 15 years ago in 2000, the Danes went to the voting booths to decide whether or not to adopt the euro in favour of the Danish kroner in the Euro Referendum.
Despite most political parties, media and economists being in favour, 53.2 percent of the voters said ‘no thanks’.
