Rooted in the disastrous defeat of 1864, the Association for Danish Neutralisation was founded on this day in 1882 and has set the tone for Denmark’s foreign policy ever since.

Renamed the Danish Peace Society in 1885, it works to pacify international policy through mediation.

In other words: no more defeats.
