The new cookery book ‘Take Portugal with You – Recipes from Denmark with a Portuguese Touch’ brings the flavours of Lisbon to Lyngby and Oporto to Odense, opening up northern European palates to Iberian euphoria.
On Monday June 28, the InovCluster – Agro-Industrial Cluster Association is presenting the book at the Lab Kitchen in Copenhagen, where a cooking showcase is guaranteed to titillate the tastebuds of everyone at the venue.
Top Danish chef and cookery book author Mikkel Karstad will host the event, overseeing two hours of gastronomic fun.
Promoting Portuguese products in Denmark
The book launch is being held under the scope of the Agriexport 4.0 Project with the aim of promoting high-quality Portuguese food products on the Danish market.
It is the organisers’ contention that Portuguese ingredients can breathe new life into traditional Danish fare: namely fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, as well as desserts.
With input from acclaimed Chef Chakall, one of Portugal’s most acclaimed chefs and restaurateurs, it promises to be a sizzler of epic proportions.
