First proper snow falling on Denmark

Parts of the country, particularly the coastal areas, will see more sleet and rain than actual powder

It took a while this year, but Denmark is experiencing snow fall nationwide for the first time this winter.

The snow is expected to move across Denmark this morning and could see some areas experience upwards of 10 cm of snow.

In other areas, the temperature will rise and the snow will turn into sleet or rain – particularly in coastal areas.

The snow has a greater chance of staying on the ground in inland regions.
