Allen Stone’s old school soul music arrives with a serious musical pedigree, having collaborated in various guises with Benny Cassette, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Miles Davis’s keyboardist Deron Johnson.

With three albums to his name, it seems Stone has fine-tuned his songwriting to devastating emotional effect.

Shying away from popular music trends, he is a self-confessed fan of traditional musical tones, and Radius, his latest album, utilises personal experiences concerning depression and his love life.
