Marriage fair
If you’re getting married this year, the Marriage Fair at the Bella Center this weekend is the place to be. Everyone who’s anyone in the industry is gathering for just two days under the same roof – there will never be more inspiration for your big day. (And something even possibly for men.) Glaspusterens Børn
Written by celebrated Scandinavian children’s author Maria Gripe, Glaspusterens Børn tells the story of two siblings Klas and Klara, who are abducted from their glass-making family and locked up in a gloomy house in Ønskeby. Days go from bad to worse as the children are held captive until heroine Flaske Midtvejr and her trusty raven ‘Hin Kloge’ come to the rescue, resulting in an epic fight of good vs evil. BSM

Okker Gokker
This musical play is especially designed for the smallest members of the family. The half-hour theatre piece is full of old Danish rhymes, limericks and songs with plenty of visual aids to help captivate the audience, young and old alike. Lille Teater specialises in children’s pieces, and this play is designed to introduce Danish culture to the audience by performing old favourites, such as the stories of Okker Gokker and Bro Brille. Classic Underground Cinema
The cinema is showing three films short underground films on 16mm: From the Notebook of (Robert Beavers, 1978), Noblesse Oblige (Warren Sonbert, 1981) and Variations (Nathaniel Dorsky, 1998). Noblesse Oblige is a French phrase that means nobility obliges and has nothing to with those really strong Israeli cigarettes everyone smokes on kibbutzim. BH

Manson in Fact & Fiction
An evening dedicated to the man credited with ending the 1960s. Consists of Manson – the Documentary and Russ Meyer’s Beyond the Valley of the Dolls – a film whose bloody ending was not in the original script and directly inspired by the Manson murders that took place shortly prior to filming. It’s the best part of this, or any Meyer film. BH

Paris-København Festival by French Art Day
Paris is coming to Copenhagen, in a joint venture between Danish and French artists in a bid to enjoy the best of both cultures through the likes of art, food, books and music. Treat your palates to wine and food tastings while admiring the art exhibition or listening to authors discuss their works. There are even children’s activities planned by the French School of Copenhagen, to provide entertainment for the whole family. BSM
