Hear the one about the imam, the rabbi and the priest?

An iman, a rabbi and a prist will help criminal and vulnerable immigrant youths on Nørrebro keep out of crime.

Three men of faith – an imam, a rabbi and a priest – will tomorrow present a new project that aims to help vulnerable young men stay or get out of crime, with the help of social and voluntary organisations in Nørrebro.

Imam Naveed Baig together with Chief Rabbi Bent Lexner and a dean in the diocese of Copenhagen, Anders Gadegaard, have come up with the initiative Godt Naboskab to present youths in the city district of Copenhagen with an alternative to their everyday lives.

The project will help the youths form networks away from the influence of the gangs and help them to learn how to read and write properly.
