Balkan Beat Party
Global CPH; April Sat 5, 21:00; 70kr

Ushering in the spring with a brass bang, Global CPH have billed several festive Balkan beat purveyors for a night of tomfoolery and revelry.

Bjonko & Copenhagen Chalgija, Umti Orchestra and Dj Prinsen Paulista are some of the names that’ll be propelling your hands and feet into a frenzy on the evening, taking you deep into the world of Balkan music which many of us know only through films like ‘Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’.
Brace! Brace! This one is going to be loud and uncouth.
