Long months of hard work paid off for three girls from NGGID International in Hørsholm on December 10 when hundreds gathered to take part in their Cancer Awareness
Walk.
Ella Hardy, Emma Svarrer and Sarah-Sofie Schaufuss organised the walk for students and parents as part of their studies. The proceeds are going to breast and prostate cancer charities.
Pretty in pink or cool in blue
Students were invited to either back Pink October (breast cancer) or Movember (prostate) by having a pink ribbon or moustache painted on their faces and getting dressed in the appropriate
colour.
Both the junior and senior schools of NGGID participated in the event. Find out more at their Facebook page ‘Students for Cancer
Awareness’.
