Teenager sets her first of 131 national records

On this day 25 years ago in 1990, arguably Denmark's best ever swimmer, Mette Jacobsen, burst onto the scene at the ripe age of 16. Jacobsen won the gold medal at the unofficial world championship in West Germany in a time that was a Nordic record and the sixth best in the world.
