Beck’s back again, this time heading Northside

American singer and multi-instrumentalist is returning to Denmark

Fans of the American singer and multi-instrumentalist Beck can look forward to see him perform as one of the headliners at the Northside Festival in Aarhus next year.

The indie-rock musician will return to Denmark for the three-day festival that will take place at Ådalen from June 17-19.

Last summer, Beck performed at the Smukfest festival in Skanderborg and then in August played in the intimate setting of Glassalen at Tivoli.

Highly-acclaimed ‘Morning Phase’
Beck became famous in the early 1990s thanks to his unique, experimental style.

In 2014, he released his latest studio album, ‘Morning Phase’, which was highly-acclaimed by critics and nominated for five Grammy awards, winning three.

In June this year, he released a new single, ‘Dreams’, which has an upbeat and funky tune.

Festival line-ups
Organisers of the Northside Festival have also confirmed the presence of the Unknown Mortal Orchestra from the US, along with several Danish acts, including The Minds of 99, Malk de Koijn and Lukas Graham.

Next year already promises to be a big year. In recent weeks, the Roskilde Festival has confirmed the attendance Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tinderbox has recruited Rammstein, and Copenhell has revealed Black Sabbath are coming.
