Performance: Il Trittico

Experience one of Puccini’s greatest opera masterpieces performed at the Opera House and directed by Italy’s Damiano Michieletto.
Doing justice to Puccini’s emotional touch, the opera consists of three acts: ‘Il tabarro’ in which a couple lead an unhappy life after the loss of their son; ‘Suor Angelica’, which deals with a religious redemption after women breach society’s laws, and finally ‘Gianni Schicchi’ in which greedy heirs cheat their way to inherit a fortune.
The cast includes British star Elizabeth Llewellyn (Porgy and Bess), Johan Reuter and Marco di Felice. (EN)
