Sports Calendar: Worth a try, surely!

With the roast pork and schnapps season now in the rear-view mirror, it’s time to brush off the cleats and get stuck into the scrum again and shed those extra kilos accumulated over Christmas and Easter.

No matter of your age, ability or sex, there are rugby clubs in Copenhagen just waiting for you to unfold your talents on the pitch ahead of the start of their seasons on April 9.

Two titans await!
Two such teams are Exiles and Frederiksberg RK, who are always looking for new members to join their senior, ladies or junior squads.

And don’t worry about having to endure tackling and strategy discussions in Danish. The clubs are overflowing with internationals and English is the lingua franca, although that might change at some point during the after-match social session.

Both clubs train Tuesdays and Thursdays: Frederiksberg at Nandrupsvej 10 and Exiles at Gammel Lundtoftevej 53.
