Since its inception in 2009, Republique has reinvented and reimagined theatre as we know it, questioning conventional limitations.

This new guest performance featuring Reumert award-winning actor Olaf Højgaard is reminiscent of Black Swan, as Højgaard gives voice and body to the tortured story of the great 20th century Danish ballet dancer Erik Bruhn.

Featuring live music by saxophonist Mads Ole Rode Erhardsen interspersed with footage of Bruhn in action, Højgaard animates Bruhn’s struggle by balancing a passionate hunger for art and the inner workings of a talented yet conflicted mind.
