Summer will return before the weekend

The rain should have disappeared by Thursday, with temperatures expected to reach 27 degrees on Sunday

For all of those who already miss going to the beach, good news is right around the corner.

After a few more rainy days, the summer heat will return, reports the national weather institute DMI.

Come rain come shine
Monday will see the worst and wettest weather of the week. The following two days will be a little bit better – typical Danish summer weather, some might say – with a mix of sun, clouds and rain, and temperatures staying around 20 degrees.

A high-pressure zone is moving in from the west as warm winds blow in over the country from the south and southeast.

Beach bums get ready
On Thursday, the sun is expected to outbattle the rain, and temperatures are expected to reach 27 degrees over the weekend.

And according to DMI, the beach weather may even last beyond next week.
