New low-cost airline flying out of northern Jutland

Aalborg to London trips should cost less next year

A new low-cost airline has joined in the fight for air travellers in northern Jutland.

Airnavia will start offering low-cost services from Aalborg next year. The company will initially fly four times a week between Aalborg and London.

Eight new routes to destinations in southern Europe are planned for later in 2016

The company DK Rejs, which operates the northern Jutland travel company Suncharter, is behind Airnavia.

The airline is expected to be established at Aalborg Airport by the spring of 2016.

SAS announced earlier today that it will start direct flights between Miami and Copenhagen.
