If you’re looking to brush up on your bicycling, the Red Cross hosts a free class every Sunday at Osramhuset in Nørrebro (Sun April 6, 11:00; free adm). Just show up to the park – they lend out their own bicycles and helmets.
This Tuesday, meet up with the Copenhagen Francophones at Café Le Rouge (Bragesgade 5, Cph N; Tue April 8, 18:00). Every week, the Nørrebro restaurant organises a soup kitchen where customers pay just 50kr for a bowl of vegetable or meat soup.
The Copenhagen Women’s 5km and 10km aren’t until June 15, but Nike and Sparta are offering a free training program every Wednesday morning until then, which includes injury prevention training (Østerbro Station, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11; Wed April 9, 17:45).

A partnership between Strøm electronic music festival and Rust nightclub is bringing a British producer and DJ, Om Unit, to Copenhagen to give an intimate masterclass (Guldbergsgade 8, Cph N; Fri April 4, 22:00; free adm, sign-up required at Eventbrite).
Once per month, Copenhagen Theatre Circle meets up for ‘Pints and Poetry’. According to the organisation, both the pints and the poetry are optional, but you might just catch an impromptu performance (The Globe Bar, Norregade 45, Cph K; Mon April 7, 19:00).
Award-winning Canadian comedian John Hastings is supported (in English) by two local performers, Anders Stjernholm and Valdemar Pustelnik, when his tour stops this Wednesday at Lygten Station (Lygten 2, Cph NV; Wed April 9, 20:00; 60kr, billetto.dk).
