Forget the Tour de France, the Tour de Vesterbro is here in the nostalgic form of the Copenhagen Classico.

Vintage bicycles with matching moustachioed cyclists in plus fours, and retro racing bikes with matching ‘70s apparel, including the all-important cap.

It’s all style over speed as the field head off on a leisurely 25km celebration of the bicycle around the city – with stops on the route for Champagne and tapas – before wheeling back to Vesterbro for an Italian market-style party at Onkel Dannys Plads with live music, food and drink.
