Danish police have confiscated a package heading for Switzerland that contained eight stolen Egyptian artefacts.
The artefacts were stolen back in 2008 from the Ganem al-Bahlawan Mosque in the al-Darb al-Ahmar district of Cairo.
They have been returned to the Egyptian Ministry of Antiques today.
In an unrelated event, another artefact was willingly handed over to the Egyptian embassy in Paris by a client of a French law office, reports the Egyptian Independent.
