Virtuoso Eric Silberger, the volcanic violinist, will join the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Robin Ticciati this Saturday at the Copenhagen Concert Hall.

Together they will perform Mozart’s ‘Turkish’ violin concerto nr 5 and Mahler’s Symfoni nr 4.

Technically solid, even in a volcano
Silberger made history by playing the violin inside Iceland’s Thrihnukagigur volcano.

His performances have been described as spine-tingling, astonishing, bold, technically solid and electrifying.

Silberger’s most recent project, a revolutionary video of Paganini’s 24th Caprice –a 200-year-old piece of music – received a huge amount of interest on Youtube. You can view it here.

Born into a musical family, Silberger started to play the violin at the age of five.
