On this day 65 years ago, the police in Silkeborg were informed about a body found two days earlier in a bog by two brothers digging for peat.

First believed to be a recent murder victim due to the good condition of the corpse, it turns out it was over 2,000 years old and dated back to the Iron Age.

Today it is known as the Tollund Man.
