Out and About: A splendid affair on the world’s biggest sailing ship

On September 30, the guests of new Dutch ambassador, Henk Swattouw (centre in suit) enjoyed splendid autumn sunshine at a reception on board the world’s largest sailing ship, the Clipper Stad Amsterdam, which is owned by the Dutch staffing company Randstad.

The event was one of several that Randstad hosted while the three-masted clipper, which was built in 2000, was docked in Copenhagen Harbour. Among those also present were Randstad head Nima Astanehdost and the ship’s captain, Andi Manser.
