October kids: Hankering after a good Halloween haunting?

The Mystery of Halloween
starts Oct 21, ends Nov 1, shows at 10:00, 12:00 & 14:00 on Sat and Sun; Valby Kulturhus, Valgårdsvej 4, Valby; tickets 55kr, musicalteatret.dk/billetter; 60 minutes; +3 years old

“When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, ‘tis near Halloween.”

Yes, October is all about Halloween: scary costumes, spooky plays and of course candy!

Kids love getting dressed up and collecting lots of sweets around the neighbourhood, but there is more to the tradition, and you don’t want to end up paying a visit to the dentist after all that sugar!

Musicalteatret together with Valby Kulturhus invite you and your children to unveil the mystery of Halloween in a musical called Halloween Mysteriet.

Written by Rasmus Mansachs, the creator of the successful 2013 musical I dine drømme and its 2014 follow-up I dine juledrømme, it’s hard to argue that he knows what kids enjoy.

It’s a relatively simple plot: the king’s magical pumpkin has been stolen, so he sends his childhood friend on an adventurous journey around the kingdom to find the responsible thieves. Will he bring the pumpkin safely back to his king? And what is the mystery behind this magical pumpkin?

There’s lots to enjoy watching this educational family musical, and your kids will no doubt have a fun scary time!

Schools, kindergartens and institutions get discounts. To find out more, contact billet@musicalteatret.dk.
