The Role

As a Legal Student, you will join the Legal team collaborating closely with other departments to support our mission to become the global leader within software solutions to the electric vehicle charging industry.

This is a unique position which will offer you an excellent opportunity to develop personal and professional competencies, while gaining practical experience in various legal areas such as corporate law, contracts, GDPR, and much more. Did we mention we are active in 10 different markets across Europe, with more to come? Meaning you will also gain valuable international experience.

Your job will be to assist the Legal team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assist internal processes related to contracts, partnerships & tender processes with charge point operators and utility companies
  • Conducting legal research, including case law or literature reviews
  • Assisting in the preparation/update of various documents, such as PowerPoint presentations and overviews
  • Assist in various compliance related topics
  • Handling miscellaneous ad hoc tasks or administrative duties as required
  • Supporting corporate law processes within the group, such as company formations, restructurings, etc.

We anticipate that you will work approximately 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility during exam periods. Additional hours may be agreed upon during busy periods, depending on your study schedule.

Requirements

You are:

  • currently pursuing a degree in law (stud.jur) or business law (HA.Jur). Ideally on your masters, but this is not a hard requirement
  • fluent in English. Ideally you are also able to work in either German, French or Spanish, but this is not a hard requirement.
  • keen to learn new legal areas to cover, and to help out wherever you can
  • ambitious and dedicated team player with an interest in a broad range of commercial law topics
  • Interested in – or willing to learn more about – charging infrastructure, electric vehicles, the grid and the energy market
  • analytically strong and capable of working independently
  • systematic and have a structured approach to tasks
