Helping families at Xmas

Children from the Esbjerg International School (EIS) and their families have again participated in the annual ‘Julehjælpen’ collection.

The national charity event helps disadvantaged families, distributing presents to children who would otherwise not get any.

This year, students from EIS donated food and Christmas gifts to some 40 children aged 5-17 from about 20 different families.

Distributed at party
The presents were distributed at the ‘Julehjælpen’ Christmas party on Saturday November 28.

During the week leading up to the charity fest, EIS pupils from the primary-age classes wrote down their Christmas wishes for the world.

Some asked for more money for the poor, while others wished people were kinder to each other.
