Motorcyclist dead after solo wreck on Hillerød motorway

No witnesses to accident that killed a 50-year-old man and has seriously injured his wife

A 50-year-old man died on Thursday from injuries sustained in a crash that occurred on the Hillerød motorway in Copenhagen.

The man’s 49-year-old wife was also seriously injured in the crash.

The couple apparently hit a tire barrier that was set up around roadworks. Police said there were no witnesses to the crash, so they could not speculate on what caused the driver to hit the barrier.

The families of the bikers have been informed of the accident.
