Bread spread giant handing out free birthday buns to mark its 25th anniversary on April 2

Kærgården is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its launch as Denmark’s favourite butter-like spread by handing of 5,000 birthday buns at Copenhagen Main Station on April 2, starting at 10 am.

“Everybody knows Kærgården,” said a company spokesperson. “Here we are, 25 years after the launch, and it is Denmark’s favourite bread spread.”

Free drinks as well
Since every true birthday must include chocolate milk, there will be Mathilde chocolate milk at hand to wash down the buns.

Kærgården said that guests are not expected to bring anything but their good humour and stop by and enjoy a freshly-spread birthday bun and some chocolate milk.
