FCM secured qualification to the next round

In Herning, FC Midtjylland took on Fenerbache, from Turkey and both teams secured promotion to the next round with a 2 – 2 result, after a late equalizing goal by FC Midtjyllands Valdemar Byskov.

The most prominent star of the night, Fenerbahce manager José Mourinho watched the game from the stands, due to a ban from Fenerbaches last game.

In the next round, FC Midtjylland will face the strong Spanish side Real Sociedad.
