Mexico Circa 2000 opening

The diplomatic corps were well represented at the opening of Mexico Circa 2000, an exhibition that opened at Gjethuset Frederiksværk on May 23 featuring art from the José Pinto Mazal Collection. Mexican ambassador José Ignacio Madrazo was hand to open the show along with Steen Hasselriis, the mayor of Frederiksværk. Among those in attendance were curator Gerardo Traeger, Pakistani ambassador Masroor A Junejo, Saudi ambassador Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Agail, Swiss ambassador Denis Feldmeyer, Austrian ambassador Ernst-Peter Brezovsky and Gjethuset’s administrative director Morten Vilhelm.

Belgian ambassador Pol De Witte was at hand to bestow beer travel writer and historian Carsten Berthelsen (right) with one of his country’s most prestigious orders (and one of its best brews).
