Who said Distortion was only for adults?

Distortion for Kids
Final Party Sat 6 June, 12:00-16:00; Fisketorvet, Kalvebod Brygge 59, Cph V; free adm

Did you think your Distortion days were over now you’ve become parents? Well, you’re mistaken as Distortion has crafted a festival especially aimed at kids.

Their party actually starts before the adult version on June 1 and 2 at Mozarts Plads in Sydhavn with music, ping-pong and creative workshops.

On Wednesday 3 June, it switches to Israel Plads in Nørrebro, and on Thursday June 4, to Skydebane in Vesterbro (13:00 to 18:00). Every day includes lots of events for the little ones, so be sure to be there.
On Saturday, the closing celebration will be on the rooftop of the Fisketorvet shopping centre. Providing a great view of the city and sunny fun outdoors for kids aged 4-13, the first 400 to show up will get a free coupon booklet with cool gifts.

Music, air brush tattoos, crayon drawing, face painting, snowballs and soap bubbles are some of the things that you will enjoy during the afternoon. RayRay Band are going to perform some tropical rhythms, and after the concert the kids will be able to try out the instruments and ask for autographs.

Them Kidz, a group of child dancers, will make an appearance, while Magician Anders will delight everyone with magic mixed with humour. What’s more, there’s Danish reggae by Trolle and Tormod, who are competing X Factor-style against music group Alle Tiders Lydsystem. The audience will have to judge who takes the trophy home.
