About Town: Haggis, kilts, drams, broth and pipes at Burns Night

The Scots were out in force for the St Andrew’s Society of Denmark’s celebration of Burns Night on Saturday, and who better to provide the evening with a dose of culture than Ian Burns (bottom left), the Scottish founder and main contributor of That Theatre.

Among the others present – eating Scotch broth and haggis (top), partaking in a wee dram and dressed in kilts (not compulsory) – were British Chamber of Commerce president Mariano A Davies (centre) and a piper (right), who played renditions of ‘The Selkirk Grace’, ‘The Address to a Haggis’ and ‘The Immortal Memory’
