Aalborg school evacuated due to bomb threat

Gl Hasseris School in Aalborg has been cordoned off while police investigate a bomb threat at the north Jutland school.

“Everyone has been evacuated to the KFUM hall at Under Lien,” said local police. “That is where parents should collect their children.”

Police are searching the school with dogs, and investigators are trying to determine who wrote the note. The school and nearby areas will be closed until further notice.

“We take no chances in these sorts of situations and we are taking this seriously,” said police inspector Ole Juul Schmidt.
