Moxy-Copenhagen
Ladies, if you find yourselves constantly looking at Danish women in the streets and admiring their effortless style and femininity, you should head down to Moxy-Copenhagen. The designers behind the label, Karina Tholstrup and Rikke Molge, founded the company in 2008 to create fashionable, feminine pieces with an Asian flair. This season is all about raw but feminine pieces with lots of sheer black, deep blue and every imaginable shade of grey. The collection also includes chunky knits for the winter.

Samsøe & Samsøe
There are few stores that embody Danish minimalist fashion like Samsøe & Samsøe. This autumn’s collection is inspired by the Mod era of the last century with slim trousers and jumpers for the men, whereas the female line features high socks, a-line skirts and straight coats. The colours are mainly black, grey and mustard for the men, but beautiful plum, navy blue and light yellow for the women.
Various locations, including Studiestræde 13, Cph K; open Mon-Thu 10:00-18:00, Fri 10:00-19:00, Sat 10:00-16:00; www.samsoe.com
Grenson
Obviously you’ll need some new shoes –sandals and sneakers are hardly optimal for the notoriously rainy Danish autumn! But not only are their shoes a beautiful design, every one of them is Goodyear-welted, which not only means they’ll last longer, but that you can replace the sole and therefore extend their lifetime by years. This season has some beautiful leather shoes in the classic tan and black, but also in some eye-catching neon colours: fuchsia for women, lime green for men.
Pistolstræede 4, Cph K; open Mon-Thu 11:00-18:00, Fri 11:00-19:00, Sat 11:00-16:00; www.grenson.dk
