Nørreport station and Frederiksborggade were both locked down.  Sections of Strøget, the main pedestrian street, were also shut down and there was a massive police presence throughout the city, particularly around the lakes.

Police said that it is still too early to say whether the shooting is related to yesterday's shootings at Krudttønden in Østerbro.
