In the land of the Faroes

Enjoy the flavour of the Faroes these weekend at Mittland Festival in Amager, among other events.

MÍTTLAND, a Faroese festival
A thousand tickets have already been sold for Mittland, an eleven-hour Faroese music festival featuring over 20 Faroese bands and musicians – the largest such event outside the islands. Come and sample fare sold by 12 Faroese foodstores and soak up the lively party atmosphere at what promises to be a very traditional affair!  According to Edmund S Jacobsen, a ”Faroese jolly boy” living in Amager, it will be an occasion of ”nostalgia and happines, and also some homesickness”.
