Tivoli to open restaurant in Frederiksberg

Wagamama opening up next door to Copenhagen Business School

Tivoli is set to launch a restaurant outside its own walls for the first time in its 171-year history after deciding to open a new Wagamama restaurant in Frederiksberg.

Tivoli already has 11 fast-food outlets, 16 bars and cafes and 20 restaurants, including the pan-Asian restaurant Wagamama, which will now have a sister restaurant in the near future.

“The new Wagamama will contribute to our activities year round and will support the development of Tivoli as a year-round business,” Tivoli chief executive Lars Leibst said according to Børsen business newspaper.

The initial Wagamama restaurant opened in Tivoli back in 2006, since when over 1.25 million guests have stopped by to slurp down its Japanese-style noodles.

The new Wagamama will be located on Solbjerg Plads near Copenhagen Business School in Frederiksberg and will open its doors for the first time on August 29.
