All sorts of fun at the Liquorice Festival

Weekly Post interns Becks and Magnus explored the depths of the licquorice universe at this year's Licquorice Festival. This year's theme was 'Black, sweet, salty and healthy´

There were a number of products on offer, including liquorice teas, honey, cakes, beers and wines

The festival included five open kitchen stations where visitors could taste a number of different dishes with liquorice incorporated into the flavour palate

It was samples galore as Becks tasted truffles and liquorice-flavoured pastries

… And more truffles and liquorice-flavoured pastries

Guests were given the opportunity to prepare and sample the many different types of liquorice throughout the day. It was truly a journey through its many flavours and varieties.
