Huge train delays across Funen

Damaged rail has halted trains between Odense and Fredericia

Train services across western Funen between Odense and Fredericia have crawled to a standstill due to a damaged rail.

National railroad provider DSB reports that anyone needing to travel on the Odense-Middlefart-Fredericia line needs to take the buses put at the passengers’ disposal.

But it will initially be a slow process as there are not many buses to go around.

Trains are still in operation between Copenhagen and Odense and from Fredericia onwards.

DSB said it had no idea when the trains would be running again on the affected line, but it would probably be sometime after noon.
