Janet Jackson has decided to postpone her entire European tour, and her concert at Forum in Copenhagen has been called off.
New dates for ‘The Unbreakable Tour’ have not yet been released, and all tickets purchased for the concert on April 30 will therefore be refunded.
The pop singer has not issued an official statement about the cancellation, but it is possible she is still recovering from a recent surgery that forced her to reschedule her US tour.
Joss Stone will offer ‘Water for Your Soul’
Meanwhile, Joss Stone, best known for her cover version of The White Stripes’ ‘Fell in Love with a Girl’, has announced she will perform a concert at Amager Bio in Copenhagen on July 18.
The British soul singer will return to Denmark after six years to promote her new album ‘Water for Your Soul’, which was released last year.
Tickets go on sale on March 9 at 10:00 and will cost 355 kroner plus a fee.
Steel Panther add some rock ‘n’ roll parody
Steel Panther, the comedy-glam metal band from Los Angeles, are also coming to Denmark this year and will perform two concerts in Copenhagen and Aarhus on September 20 and 21 respectively.
The popular rock band blends musical bravura with parody and decadence.
Their last two concerts in Copenhagen sold out quickly, so hurry up if you want to get tickets as sales started last Friday.
And Lucky Chops will charge you with energy
The New York-based boy brass band Lucky Chops will play at Koncerthuset in the Danish capital on May 4.
These six young guys stormed onto the international scene last year and completely changed the concept of brass band music, adding unique sound and loads of energy.
They have gained viral popularity on YouTube and this spring they have taken off for their first world tour with a funky version of Adele’s hit ‘Hello’.
Tickets cost 155 kroner plus a fee – sales kicked off on February 22.
