Fat Freddy’s drop
Sun 3 April, 20:00; Falconer Salen, Falconer Allé 7, Frederiksberg; 350kr, billetlugen.dk

A mix between reggae, dub, soul, R&B and jazz is what you can expect when this septet from Down Under guests Copenhagen yet again in April.
The 15-year-old band have every year since 2010 filled Store Vega with passionate admirers of their unique style, and the Copenhageners can’t get enough.
This time it will be Falconer Salen hosting the gig, when the seven cool Kiwis play for their biggest Danish audience ever.
Using saxophone, trumpet and trombone alongside the usual guitar, bass and drums, they are not afraid to improvise when performing live. (NØ)

Moderat
Sun 10 April, 20:00, VEGA, Enghavevej 40, Cph V; SOLD OUT, billetnet.dk

Moderat is an electronic music project consisting of Sascha Ring (aka Apparat), Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (together as Modeselektor).
Although the foundations were laid in Berlin in 2002, their first full-length album, Moderat, was not released until 2009 – to popular acclaim worldwide.
Apparat’s sensitive melodies and Modeselektor’s roaring bass couldn’t be more different, and that is the key to the success of their collaboration.
Moreover, Moderat is not merely a studio project, as Pfadfinderei has created a set of visuals for their unique concerts.
