The shopping mall Lyngby Storcenter is celebrating the opening of its new indoor food market with free burgers, pastries and juice shots this Friday from 10 am.
After three months of construction work, the mall is officially opening its doors to a unique culinary universe with six food stalls and room for 250 diners.
Culinary experience
“Our new indoor stalls-concept meets the expectations of a modern consumer who can enjoy a high-quality culinary experience while visiting the shopping centre,” explained Finn Sture Madsen, a department manager at DEAS, a property company that runs the mall.
“It also fits into the current trend we see in the industry as dining areas are becoming increasingly important in all shopping centres.”
Something to suit all tastes
Six companies have been carefully selected to sell their food at the stalls. Consumers will be able to sample Spanish tapas from Tapa del Toro, hand-made burgers from the Icelandic restaurant Tommi’s Burger Joint, Italian pasta dishes from Parma & Pasta, juice shots from Palæo, sweet pastries from Brioche Doree and classic Danish open-faced sandwiches from Hallernes Smørrebrød.
On the opening day, Tommi’s Burger Joint and Brioche Doree will give away free burgers and pastries, and the first 1,000 customers will get a juice shot at Palæo’s.
