The emergency number 112 is once again working for mobile phones in Zealand and Funen.
Original story:
If you find yourself in an emergency in Zealand (not including Copenhagen) or Funen, calling the usual emergency number 112 from a mobile phone won’t be of much use at the moment.
According to the police and the emergency response authority, Beredskabsstyrelsen, you need to use a landline. And if you can’t do that, call 58 50 09 83 or 87 31 14 71 instead.
“We don’t know what the reason is and so we on’t know how long it will take before the problem is solved,” Ove Christoffersen, the duty chief at the South Zealand and Lolland-Falster Police, told Ritzau news service.
